The Blight is over and Avery rules as a single ruler. A powerful queen overseeing Ferelden.
Mass Effect
A vanguard against sentient machines set on destroying everything she loves. Avery serves in the Alliance Navy.

Origins
After Howe’s treachery, Avery went with Duncan and became a Grey Warden. She saw her whole family die, and she was determined to avenge their deaths. Avery got along well with Duncan, he seemed to understand her pain. At least she still had her Mabari and the hope that Fergus was alive. After the treachery at Ostergar, Avery wanted vengeance for everything.Here are her choices:
- High Approval with every party member.
- She saved the Mages at the Circle, Saved Connor and Isolde (despite not liking Isolde).
- Put Harrowmont on the thrown of Orzammar.
- Sided with both Elves and Werewolves- Zathrian sacrificed himself to lift the curse, healing the Dalish hunters and turning the werewolves into humans.
- Put Alistair on the Throne (This decision will be verse dependent - many verses have Avery as a single ruler).
- Avery agreed to Morrigan’s ritual.
- Killed the ArchdemonCommander of the Grey Wardens
After coronation to be queen. Avery still decided to continue to serve the Wardens. The events at Amaranthine were surprising, but these were here decisions:
- Ogrhen was a warden and reunited with Felsi.
- Nathaniel found honor and stayed in the Wardens.
- Avery helped Anders destroy his phylactery and gave him Sir Pounce A Lot as a gift.
- Velanna and Sigurn found purpose
- Justice became a close friend.
- Soldiers were spread, but did well. In the end, she upgraded the keep, Saved the city and killed the Architect. Everyone lived.Queen of Ferelden
Avery Cousland’s story isn’t over. Despite rumors, she is still with the Wardens though she has been trying to find a cure to the calling. Though the rumors say she is hard to find, Avery makes sure to keep up with each and every one of her friends though Morrigan, doesn’t reply much. Fergus has since remarried as is expecting another child. Avery is seen as a just and fair ruler and sees her advisors, Teagan and Eamon frequently (and she will also make undercover trips to the city to see what the people are saying).

Avery Shepard grew up in on space crafts all her life, she was a child of the Alliance Navy and it only made sense for her to join when she was old enough. A hero of the Skyllian blitz she was awarded the Star of Terra and is regarded as a hero. Despite butting heads with the council everyone knows that she is the only person to stand in between the Reapers and utter disaster.Playthrough: Paragon with Renegade streak (she's not afraid to punch somebody)Companion
Still an Alliance Child, Avery Cousland followed in her family's footsteps and joined the Alliance Navy and underwent N7 training with her brother Fergus. After her parents were killed in an ambush and Fergus went missing, Avery found herself connected with Admiral Hackett, a friend of her parent's helping hide Avery from whoever was hunting her family. She is stationed on the Normandy, under Commander Shepard. As she uncovers the past and her parent's secrets she realizes that perhaps she can help the Commander against the reapers than she realized.

This verse is versatile and able to be used for both historic periods of China and Japan. More specifically, this will be her verse for the Three Kingdoms Period of China 220 - 280 A.D. (Part of the historic Period of Disunion 220-589 A.D.) and the Sengoku Period of Japan 1467 - 1603 A.D. This is for the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warrior games, but is also historical. However, this verse can also be used for other time periods of China.In this verse, Avery takes on aspects of her character from Dragon Age while also being based on the Lienü Zhuan by Liu Xiang, which was about Exemplary Women of Early China (of numerous virtues) written in the late Han Dynasty.The Couslands in this verse are a family of well known merchants, who have befriended some of the noble families of China (or Japan) and while they were returning home after a long tour Avery’s parents were killed by nomads (Or bandits if in the Sengoku Period). Fergus and Avery were able to narrowly escape the surprise attack and began their search for help. They were unable to continue the journey home as they had no provisions to survive a trip back to the west.This is where the verse splits into two different paths, the first is that Fergus and Avery are able to find and go to one of the noble families that their parents had befriended for help. Once being taken in by one of these families, Avery tries to payback the kindness that was shown to her by offering her help in any way possible. She mends clothes, cooks, cleans, and works in whatever way she can help, while Fergus tries to be the filial son and picks up the pieces of the family and rebuild.The second option is that, unable to find one of these noble families, Fergus and Avery stumble across a person who offers their assistance, however, once Fergus goes and tries to start up a business to support his sister and himself, Avery is taken against her will by this person and given to a noble warrior or official as an “exotic” form of entertainment or as a wife/consort. She has no idea when or if her brother will ever find out her predicament, and will try to figure out how to make the best of the situation with her cunning skills.In either path, Avery is still skilled with knowledge and weapons as her father adored her and wanted her to be more educated than other young women. She excels in archery and throwing daggers, as well as some battle tactics.
